UAE National Day: Ruler of Fujairah pardons 153 prisoners – News

Pardoned prisoners displayed good conduct and good behavior, proving their eligibility for the noble gesture

A total of 153 prisoners of different nationalities will be released in Fujairah after being pardoned by the ruler of the emirate.

His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, ordered their release on the occasion of the 51st National Day of the United Arab Emirates.

The pardoned prisoners displayed good conduct and good behavior, proving their eligibility for the noble gesture.

With this initiative, Sheikh Hamad hopes to give detainees a chance to start a new life and bring joy to their families.

Brigadier General Muhammad bin Nayea Al Tunaiji, Deputy Commander of Fujairah Police, thanked the emirate’s leader. expressing his hope that the decision would inspire the pardoned inmates to follow the right path.
