AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah met on Thursday with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in Abu Dhabiaccording to Jordan News Agency, Petra.
King Abdullah and Sheikh Mohamed underlined the deep-rooted ties between the two peoples and countries, as well as the concern to further consolidate them in all sectors.
During the meeting, which was held at Al Shati Palace, the two sides stressed the importance of expanding economic and development cooperation, in the service of common interests and Arab causes.
The meeting also covered a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh, Chief of Staff of His Majesty Jafar Hassan, and senior UAE officials attended the meeting.
