ABU DHABI, 25th November, 2022 (WAM) — His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan met today to discuss the strong ties between the two nations and ways to further expand cooperation. and cooperation.
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the King of Jordan to Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi and conveyed his best wishes to His Majesty and the people of Jordan. The two leaders reviewed existing areas of partnership and explored possibilities for further developing ties, particularly in the areas of development and economy.
In attendance were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the sovereign’s representative in the Al Dhafra region; His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Counselor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court, and Humaid Obaid Khalifa Obaid Abu Shabas, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority.
The Jordanian delegation accompanying Her Majesty included Dr Bishr Khasawneh, Prime Minister of Jordan and Dr Jaafar Hassan, Director of Her Majesty’s Cabinet.
King Abdullah II left the United Arab Emirates and was accompanied by President Sheikh Mohamed.
