ABU DHABI, 29th November, 2022 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has said that on this day, the United Arab Emirates pays homage to its martyrs who sacrificed their life to defend the country and raise its flag high as a nation of hope and peace.
In his speech, published in Nation Shield magazine on the occasion of the annual day of remembrance on November 30, he affirmed that “this glorious day is an occasion to mark the unity and cohesion of the leaders, the government and of the people of the United Arab Emirates”.
“We call on the youth of the country and its future generations to mark the sacrifices of our martyrs as an example of patriotism to inspire a path to achieving outstanding feats in all fields,” he added.
“May Allah Almighty bestow mercy on the nation’s martyrs. May He protect our country and grant us safety and security,” Sheikh Mansour concluded.
