Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa praised the long-standing brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the President of the United Arab Emirates His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He made the statement while attending a ceremony hosted by the UAE Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain marking the 51st National Day of the UAE. The Deputy Prime Minister, who was accompanied by ministers, was welcomed by the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Bahrain, His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Deputy Prime Minister paid tribute to His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyna and other early founders for their role in laying the foundations for strong strategic relations linking the two countries.
He expressed the thanks and gratitude of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in the UAE for its positions in support of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.
He congratulated the leaders, government and people of the United Arab Emirates on this occasion, commending their development, progress and prosperity, commending the strong partnership between the two countries. The UAE Ambassador to Bahrain thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for attending the ceremony marking his country’s 51st National Day.
He hailed the strong historic relations binding the two brotherly countries, no common desire to expand bilateral relations and promote the values โโof tolerance and peaceful coexistence, security and stability for sustainable development in the region and His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Abdallah during a ceremony held at the United Arab Emirates Embassy in the world.
