Enterprise Estonia, the largest public investment and trade organization in the Republic of Estonia, announces the dates for the systematic export program to the UAE program, in 2023.

The United Arab Emirates is one of Estonia’s key markets for international expansion. The Systematic Export to UAE program aims to support export growth and business initiatives of Estonian food and beverage companies in the UAE. It is one of Enterprise Estonia’s flagship initiatives worldwide and was designed to focus on the food, beverage and ingredient categories. This is the third flight of the program, the previous two having been successfully completed in 2020 and 2021. Since 2020, NIFOR Ltd has been given the mandate to design and implement the program for the United Arab Emirates. The systematic export to the UAE is financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

Under this program, 8 selected Estonian food and beverage companies are individually coached by NIFOR to prepare for export to the UAE market, through a systematic and comprehensive set of individual consultations and group seminars covering as main topics the opportunities of the F&B market in the United Arab Emirates; thorough market entry strategies; regulatory compliance programs; marketing and media environment in the UAE. The program also covers UAE business culture and etiquette, as well as introductory information on potential major UAE distribution partners to connect and discuss meaningful collaborations, enabling Estonian companies to enter the market for WATER with their products. Each company is approached as a unique case with hands-on step-by-step coaching to allow them to think through and plan as best they can before they enter.

For the final phase of Systematic Export Program 2022, the 8 selected Estonian companies will travel to the UAE on individual market trips to meet potential UAE-based partners and visit relevant outlets in the UAE united to gain first-hand experience and market insights. Visits must take place between January 16, 2023 and February 10, 2023.

Enterprise Estonia invites all reputable UAE F&B importers and distributors interested in exploring what Estonia has to offer in the UAE to connect at taste.estonia@nifor.co
